Our fees are dependent on which type of investigations the client needs and the locality. Our general fees range from $75 to $150 per hour per agent depending on the type of assignment required and how many agents are needed.
Say it is a surveillance then a normal agent on foot will be charged at $75 per hour however if we have to use special equipment we may need two agents and a vehicle, or it may be a DE-bugging case where the charges are by the size of the area swept for listening devices not by the hours taken.
Most DE-bugging assignments are at $500 per 50 square metres area to be DE-bugged. Telephones and cell phones are at a minimum of $450 each. However if we need to investigate an occurrence then we may need to follow and develop leads which are not obvious at first, so we have no way of knowing the total cost but we will work only within the scope of the clients funds given to us at the time.
Lie detection is also by arrangement as are investigations requiring Male / female operatives or 'sting' and undercover operations.
Internet or computer forensic assignments are also a sub-contract specialist's fee so it is up to each individual case as to costs.
With 40 years experience we do not believe a reasonable assignment can be successful if a client attempts to dictate an unreasonably small fee.
We are also running a business so a small profit is necessary for us to be involved.
We believe seldom is a result achievable under say 10 hours' work, so at no time do we begin a matter without a pre-paid retainer of $750 which is required in cash, bank check, wire or Internet transfer or credit card , kindly note state tax is to be added where applicable.
We expect that whatever time and duties the client books us for, we will require payment in advance.
If the client requires the services of our Senior or Chief Investigators also the charges will differ.
All this is to be noted in the contract at time of signing.
We do not charge extra for pictures or video or sound recording but merely charge the client at cost for these items. However depending on distance a 1/2 hour travelling time to and from a Job site is reasonable as well as mileage at .85c a mile.

We charge a minimum of 4 hours for any one instance of work . All reasonable expenses are to be billed to the client, such as conferences, telephone calls, tolls, fees for searches or other disbursements. Also expense such as, drinks, meals, club entry; say we follow a subject to a bar or dinner ,and need to be close to see whom he /she is meeting.
We need to enter the establishment and order a meal or drink in an effort not to look suspicious.
Also confidential information gathering and specially requested meetings are at a different fee schedule.
All charges begin when our staff leave the office, bound for the assignment.
We will not begin any assignment 'pro bono' or on credit of any kind.'
Note:We do not find out owners of motor vehicles in Australia, this may be legal in other countries.
